The roads and railroads, vehicles, and modes of travelling, of ancient and modern countries; with accounts of bridges, tunnels, and canals, in various parts of the world .. . rate aremade hollow and contain water. The construction of hisboiler is shown in the following side and front views of consists of two cylindrical vessels a and b, placed infront of the fire, and above them is the vessel c called theseparator; this latter vessel alone contains steam, theothers being full of water.
