PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 12, 2016) Sailors tie down a damage control training jet during a crash and salvage drill on USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) flight deck. The crash and salvage team is the first response crew to any incident on the flight deck. John C. Stennis is underway to conduct routine training in the 3rd Fleet area of responsibility.
