Unveiled in 1985 ‰Û÷Sanctuary‰Ûª at St Botolph without Aldgate church, London was designed by Naomi Blake, a concentration camp survivor and now a fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. The sculpture itself is a Seated androgynous figure beneath a large drooping leaf motif. It is made of fibreglass and sits on a rough concrete base. The plaque reads To All Victims of Oppression.
