Marines corps. The emblem is derived from the front plate of the Marine Shelm. The spell in terms of Patet Orbis (as widely stretched the world) was the arms spell from Johan Maurits, count from Nassau-Siegen (1604-1679) that distinguished itself in the Battle of Seneffe (11 August 1674) to which the Marines also participated. This spell was adopted by the corps as a motto in 1946, when the emblem had been conducted by the corps for some time and indicates the global activities of the Marines.
