Eads Bridge, St Louis, Missouri, USA, 1935. Vintage linen postcard showing the Eads Bridge and a view across the Mississsippi River. A steamboat is seen passing under the bridge. Designed by James B Eads, the bridge crosses the Mississippi between St Louis and East St Louis, Illinois. When completed in 1874, it was the longest arch bridge in the world.
