The first of these pictures to bereceived is from the Wellston Division—of track foreman James Galloway, incharge of track work in Sandusky yard,and his force. Since theformation of the club the following sub-jects have been considered: breathcontrol; the proper position to assumewhile speaking; enunciation and articula-tion; force; earnestness and confidence;getting a stock of words, style andsimplicity; conversation; imagination andoriginality; outlining a speech; com-mitting a speech to paper, and the useof the pause. At an early date a well known publicspeaker of Baltimore will address theclub on the subject of who have taken the course feelthat what they have learned will be oflasting benefit to them, and that in thefuture they will be able to put theirthoughts over with force and
