Lichfield Cathedral gargoyle
Lichfield Cathedral modern gargoyle of a winged beast with fangs, on the exterior of the Lady Chapel at the east end. The sandstone Cathedral was originally founded in 700 AD, and the present building begun in 1195 and built during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries.
