A decorated Celtic shield boss, 2nd - 1st century Spindle-shaped bronze shield boss with moulded and incised decorations in insular style. Central spindle with bladder-shaped bulge at centre. At the edge of the base sheet mostly smaller chippings, one end with more losses, the other retaining its forked form. The base sheet originally with 10 rivet holes (8 preserved) and two rivets on the narrow spindle ends for the shield attachment.
