Wood Duck pair sitting together on edge of a pond, New Mexico

This was taken hand held with a Nikon D7100 camera at F10, Sp 200, ISO 640 at 170 mm. The male Wood Duck had been in the pond and headed over to the female Wood Duck on the bank. He got out of the water and sat near the female for a few minutes then returned to the pond. This was at a pond in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We see Wood Ducks all year round in Albuquerque.
