White Hart Public House in Sherborne Dorset in 1974 6x6neg no 0148

Photo 0147. Photograph of  The White Hart, Sherborn, Dorset - photo taken between 1973 and 1975. The Bass Charrington pub occupies two buildings built from different stone. The roofs of the two buildings have become one roof but the right hand side building's roof used to be higher and steeper as can be witnessed by the corbelling on the chimney stack. The gap to the left of the White Hart looks to be an opening to the rear of the pub but states "Eldridge Pope Wine Merchants Sherborne Branch".
