Ancient quintain for jousting practice

Ancient quintain for jousting practice. The idea was that you rode towards the quintain on your horse and "tilted" or pointed your lance at the object hanging on the left. From a woodcut or engraving from an 1845 book, Picturesque Old England, but the woodcut appears to be much older.
