A child from Bedey community. The Bedey community belongs mainly to the ethnic Mong-tong group, which came from the ancient Burmese state of Arakan and settled in Bikrampur near Dhaka and later spread out to remote areas of Bengal and Assam. Traditionally, the Bedeys practice folk medicine spiritual healing, using it as a means to earn a living as well as being snake catchers and snake charmers. Faridpur, Bangladesh. October 23, 2006.
