A cased pair of percussion pistols, France(?), circa 1850. Browned barrels with eight-groove rifled bores in 11 mm calibre, patent breeches and dovetailed front sights. On the barrel tops the silver-inlaid inscription "Canon d'acier fondu". Percussion locks engraved with floral designs and iron mounts chiselled en suite.
