Theater of the Amsterdamse Schouwburg on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam; Theater des SoLidburghs / Theater Ou L'On Joe Les Tragaedies et comaedies. View of the stage of the Amsterdamse Schouwburg to the Keizersgracht. This city theater was designed by Jacob van Campen and was built at the place of the Nederduitse Academy of Samuel Coster (at the current Keizersgracht 384). The opening was on December 26, 1637. In 1665 the building was radically rebuilt and in 1772 it burned off. On verso Dutch text.
