Wetland between the dunes on the island of Sylt

An interdunal wetland is a water-filled depression between coastal sand dunes, like here in north of Hoernum on the German island of Sylt. They are intermittently and dry out in spring. Primarily crowberries grow here, but also rare bog plants.
