A HH-60G Pavehawk assigned to the 46th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron prepares to connect to a refueling hose from the wing of a HC-130 Hercules assigned to the 26th Expeditionary Rescue Squadron during a mission over Iraq, Aug. 5, 2018. The Rescue Squadrons perform helicopter air-to-air refueling during the night at low altitudes with covert aircraft lighting, aided with night vision imaging systems. The units train and perform these tactics in order to maintain their skills while maximizing combat capabilities.
