The Scuffletown Creek Wetlands Restoration Project encompasses 30,000 thousand square feet of wetlands along Scuffletown Creek in the City of Chesapeake, Va. This area was formerly wetlands that have been covered with three to seven feet of fill material containing primarily construction debris and marks the first ever wetlands restoration project taken on by the Norfolk District.
