SASEBO, Japan (June 15, 2017) Utilitiesman Constructionman Wyatt Bales, from Cibolo, Texas, works with staff members of the Kujukushima Zoo and Botanical Garden to clean a pond inside the zoo. Staff members from Commander, Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, in partnership with Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo, routinely participate in community outreach and service projects with the Sasebo community as a way to establish a foundation of trust and friendship with the citizens of Japan.
