Saint-Montan (south-eastern France): Medieval site dating back to the Vth and XVth century, consisting of a fortified village, three Roman churches, two chapels, a priory and a huge fortress. Completely abandoned, in ruins since 1969 and nearly wiped off the map, the feudal complex was almost entirely reconstructed as it was in the Middle-Ages.
