Portrait 'Physical Graffiti Building', with vintage clothes, Asian Body Work shops, 96 St. Mark's Place, East Village, New York
The section of St. Mark's Place, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, is a popular shopping destination. A wide variety of retailers includes tattoo artists, vintage clothes shops, restaurants and open-fronted market-stalls selling sunglasses, clothing and jewellery. The 5-storey tenement building, located at 96-98 St Mark's Place (seen here) was used an sleeve design for Led Zeppelin's 1975 album, 'Physical Graffiti'. The basement of 96 is occupied by the 'Physical Graffiti' vintage 60s clothes store and 'Asian Body Work' shop advertising back and foot rubs, and relief from pain, stress, fatigue, insomnia and sciatica.
