LaGuardia lies on a hill and is surrounded by a wall that lift the king commanded Sancho the Strong of Navarre. Five-door access to the city are still preserved. Their names are: Mercadal, Butchers, Paganos, San Juan and Santa Engracia. Its streets and corners retain great medieval flavor. Its economy is based on the wine industry, with its own development and numerous wineries. The portico is preserved almost intact, had to carve in the fourteenth century and was polychromed in the seventeenth. It is one of the few polychrome portico preserved in Spain
