Fairford, UK. 20th April 2016. The Women's Institute knitted tribute to the Queen for her 90th Birthday on the 21st April this year. The WI have knitted scarves in red, white and blue, and purple and made woollen pom poms representing bees and a hive. They have decorated the Cotswold town with these and photos of the Queen to celebrate her Birthday and the traditions of knitting in the WI. Fairford in Gloucestershire was known as a wool town and is still in a sheep farming area. Credit: Flo Smith/Alamy Live News
