Mr. Petersen is a high priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints andin the fall of 1905 he went on a mission to Denmark, where he labored until PETER J. In politics he isa. republican with independent tendencies, voting for men and measures rather thanfor party save where national issues are involved. He has a family of whom he hasevery reason to be proud, and his successful business career places him among the sub-stantial citizens of Brigham. HORACE S. ENSIGN, Ph. G. Horace S. Ensign, president and manager of the Ensign Drug Company of Ogden,was born November 14, 1884, in the city in which he yet makes his home, his parentsbeing Datus Horace and Weltha (Richards) Ensign. The father was also born inOgden and was a son of Datus and Elizabeth (Stewart) Ensign, who were nativesof North Carolina and of English descent.
