It has been intro- â¢duced from Brazil. 25 cents each. Begonia ComptaâAnother pretty ornamental species from Brazil. Its leaves have palish pink footstalks, which are five to six â inches long, remarkable for the equal development of their two Sialves, the one side being narrowed to the base, and the other de- -veloped into a roundish angular lobe. The color is satiny green "with a silvery tinge along the course of the mid-rib ; this colora- tion with the satiny surface being of a very pleasing character. 3^ <;ents each. SUBPELTATE VARIETIES. The following are some of the finest additions of recent years to the Begonia family. They are hybrids of Subpeltate crossed with "Rex. The flowers are large and produced freely in the wmter â months. The freedom of bloom coupled with the distinct coloring of the leaves will be highly appreciated by ail lovers of plants. The rich metallic lustre, coupled with the deep crimson and bright silvery shadings arrest the eye of all visitors. President de Boureville, Madam Lionnet and â Glolre de Jouy. Each 75 cents.
