Ten Thousand Flowered Boltonia. We have not seen so good a hardy plant as this since we introduced Rudbeckia Golden Glow. That plant went over the whole world like wildfire, and is by far the finest hardy garden plant in cultivation to-day. Next to it in importance we recommend this new Ten Thousand Flowered Boltonia. The flowers are like a native Aster, pure white and borne in endless numbers as may be seen by the cut, which repre- sents a single stem plant the first summer. Another year this plant will throw up 6 to 10 stems just like this one and a mass of bloom shown that no other plant can equal. For a clump or hedge it is superb, perfectly hardy, and grows in any soil or situation. Strong plants, 20c. each; 3 for 50c ; 12 for $ Seed pkt. Perei>pial poppies. If there is a more gorgeous flower anywhere than the Perennial Poppy we fail to know it. observer stands spellbound in the presence of its magnificent fire-like scarlet flowers with their silky tex- ture and foil-like heart of innumer- able purnle-black stamens. Each bloom is as large as a saucer, and sits perched like a bird on the end of a swaying, hairy, slender stem, high above the deeply-incised and handsome foliage. Many consider it the most showy flower that blooms. A grand plant to light up dark cor- ners and dull shrubbery. Do not disturb them after planting as they dislike removal. Fine plants, 20c each; 3 for 50c Seed ioc per pkt. The most indifferent.
