Clifford Hardman “Clive” Brook was an English film actor. Clive Brook was born in 1887 in Islington, London. He made his first screen appearance in 1920. After success in the British film industry, he moved to the United States in 1924 and became one of Paramount Pictures’ biggest stars in the late silent era.
