The handle Duguesclin is a natural who has paid a heavy price for the construction of the Rance tidal power plant. Indeed, the extraction of sand had significantly cut the dunes, which have more body, resisted more difficult to attack at sea. With planting marram grass, the dune was reconstituted, again playing the role of natural barrier against attacks from the sea, returning at the same time a characteristic flora and fauna and diverse.
