The horse, which was spirited, shied and col- lided with a heavy truck, overturning the wagon and throwing out the occupants, who landed heavily, the driver, Henry Hoffman, falling on top of Mr. Einsel, whose head was cut and one leg broken above the knee. Hoffman was shaken up but otherwise uninjured. A passing carri- ageconveyed theinjured man to Roosevelt Hospital, a short drive from where the accident occurred. It is rumored that Twenty-eighth street is to have another wholesale-retail flower shop when alterations to a certain build- ing are completed. Grapes For Forcing. In our issue of March 14, page 22S, we published an excellent article on grapes for forcing, by John Ash, who is well known as an expert grower. We are now pleased, through the courtesy of our esteemed friend, Alfred Dimmock, to reproduce herewith a photograph of a house of grapes, one of forty, at Thomas Rochford's famous establishment in Eng- land.
