A pair of flintlock rifles, Johann Adam Knod, Karlovy Vary, circa 1740 Slightly swamped, octagonal barrels with seven-groove rifling in 14 mm calibre with dovetailed, gilded front and rear sights. The muzzles and breeches decorated with engraved and gilded ornaments. The upper sides of the barrels inscribed in (rubbed) gold inlay "JOHANN ADAM KNOD". Flintlocks chiselled with hunting scenes in relief. The finely carved walnut full stocks with gilded bronze furnitures decorated with hunting scenes in relief. Inscription "V. H.
