Sardinia Sassari Ploaghe S. Michele di Salvenero, this is my Italy, the italian country of visual history, Medieval Pisan-Romanesque architecture, 12th century 1110-1130. Altered in 1200-1225 and campanile added. Badly restored recently. High facade with slender pilasters, decorative arches along cornice, and triple arches at base indicating what may have been a portico. Campanile only base remaining constructed in black and white stone. Ploaghe environs
