Traditional Tao Tao adorn a cliff face at Lemo Village. Lemo in Tana Toraja, the highlands of Central Sulawesi in Indonesia is famed for its Tao Tao which are wooden effigies of deceased family members of the Torajanese people that are placed high up on a cliff face overlooking the surrounding countryside. Lemo is one of a series of 10 sites in the Unesco World Heritage listed Traditional Settlements category or constituents of them, such as burial or ceremonial grounds found in Tana Toraja Regency.
