BARDARBUNGA VOLCANO, ICELAND: HANGING from a helicopter at speeds of 150-miles-per-hour over an erupting volcano means this daring amateur photographer could be the bravest on the planet. Pictures show how the airline pilot who took the pictures of lava spewing 150-feet into the air, managed to sneak a shot of his own legs dangling 1,000-feet high from the door of the helicopter before landing safely to the ground. Captain Miles Morgan (44) from Portland, Oregon took the extraordinary pictures while visiting Iceland’s Bardarbunga Volcano.
