Mt Syltefjellet, Valldal, Sunnmøre, Norway, on top of which is planned a Greek Orthodox monastery partly due to the St Olav conn

Not claimed by Snorri in his saga of King Olav Haraldson , but by tradition, that the later St Olav fleeing from the yeoman army, encountered a huge sea serpent ( may be the Midgardsorm) off Sylte ,and surely by the help of God threw it with his ore high up in the steep and naked face of Mt Sylte where it is still clearly visible.
