An Italian hunting hanger, circa 1760 Smooth single-edged blade with double-edged point. Fire-gilt bronze quillons decorated in relief with rococo ornaments, pommel cap worked en suite and carved elegant ebony wood grip. Slightly shrunken leather scabbard with gilt (replaced) mounts.
