YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 20, 2017) - Hull Maintenance Technician 3rd Class Thomas Dwyer, from Florham, New Jersey, attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), welds a pipe. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
