Gelada baboon (Theropithecus gelada) ascending a very steep grassy cliff at sunrise. Geladas sleep on the cliff face in order to protect themselves from nocturnal predators like leopards and hyenas. The Gelada is, following humans, the most vocal of primates. Photographed in the Simien Mountains National park in Ethiopian highlands.
