This extensive bridge carries us out of Virginia andlands us once more in old Maryland, which Ave left at Harpers Ferry,and kept out of for a distance of 91 miles. The route thence to Cum-berland is across two bends of the river, between Avhich the stream ofEverts Creek is crossed by a viaduct of 100 feet span.
