SAN DIEGO (Jan. 8, 2021) – Operations Specialist 1st Class Kevin Lusky, a native of Baldwin Park, Calif., who is assigned to Commander, Mine Division 12, receives the COVID-19 vaccine at the Naval Base San Diego fitness center as part of Operation Warp Speed. Operation Warp Speed is a national initiative to accelerate the development, production, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.
