A fur cap for officers of the Royal Horse Artillery, circa 1900 The body covered with black sableskin, triple continuous gold round cords, thereon long lanyard. Cloth bag of red felt, on the opposite side the regimental emblem in relief (gilt vestiges). Red silk liner with gold maker´s stamp "Hobson & Sons, London", light leather sweatband with an old size tag "6 7/8". In the original tin box. Included are two "pillboxes" of different units.
