Legislation.—The principal other acts of gen-eral interest passed by the Legislature in thesession of 1888 were: An act relating to minesand mining-leases, providing for the forfeitureof leases under which no minerals have beenraised for twelve months continuously, or incase of breach of conditions, and exemptinglimestone and gypsum from crown act prohibiting the killing of moose, deer,or red deer for three years.
