A view inside the cargo bay of a Boeing C17 Globemaster transport aircraft on the apron at the 2012 Farnborough air show. The C17 has a payload capacity of some 77 tonnes and a maximum gross takeoff weight of 265 tonnes. Alternatively, with seating, the aircraft is designed to carry up to 102 paratroopers and their equipment.
