VWHITE EGG—Its shape is nearly oval or egg; flesh very firm and fine grained, thin and perfectly smooth skin, and both flesh and skin are of a snowy whiteness. Its flavor is of the best, PURPLE TOP MILAN—Extra Early—The earliest in cultiva- tion. The bulb is very flat, of medium size, quite smooth, with bright purple top; leaves few, short and of a light color, growing very compact and making an exceedingly small and neat top. The pure white flesh is of*the choicest quality; hard, solid and fine grained. It is an excellent keeper.
