A German hand-and-a-half sword,circa 1400 Double-edged thrusting blade with flat ridges on both sides. Quillons curve down and have rectangular finials. Long,rectangular tang with smith mark on one side. The oval disk pommel fastened with a rectangular rivet. A conserved sword,preserved for its entire length,with traces of heavy corrosion(especially on the blade). Length 125 cm. Cf.
