With eight parallel tracks in the subway running through thefour stations, three hundred and twenty local trains per hour couldbe run through and out, stopping at all stations on a schedule intervalof a minute and a half. Moreo^er, an equal number of trains perhour could be landed downtown by the west, north, and south siderapid transit lines. With a possible total capacity of six hundredand forty trains per hour, it would appear that the proposed subur-ban system would be adequate to all needs of the future.
