Garden and landscape workmen Apprenticeships at Tatton Park, Cheshire, UK 23rd July, 2015. Final Touches at the 17th Annual RHS Flower Festival Showground as apprentices in landscaping and horticulture demonstrate their apprenticeship skills installing garden trellis and producing identical plots in an unfinished small patio garden using uprights and paving.


Students and apprentices, who are the highest scoring entrants for the Association of Professional Landscapes and WorldSkills UK Gardening Competition, building individual small gardens. They had 18 hours over three days to individually the 6 x2m garden. The garden was designed this year by RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold medal winner, Jody Lidgard. The top six in this competition will go on compete in the national final which will be held at the Skills Show at the NEC Birmingham in November. This year's competitors are from Gardenscapes, the Landscape Co. Ltd, Reaseheath College, Wildroof Landscapes, and Greenmount Campas: CAFRE Northern Ireland.
