Almodovar castle. Almodovar del Rio, Cordoba Province, Andalusia, Spain. Founded as a Roman fort it developed into its present form during the Moorish era. It was restored in the early 20th century by its owner Raphael Desmaissiers, 12th Count of Torravala. It was used as a location in the 7th season of the TV series Game of Thrones. EDITORIAL ONLY.
