Where the tanks are to be used in exposed places, a com-pound is furnished that will not freeze in a temperature as lowas 20 degs. under zero. The solution contains no acid and isharmless; it does not lose its efficiency with age. When thesix buckets have been removed, there is enough solution leftin the tank to refill four of the buckets. The tank, being ornamental and compact in construction, can be put in any convenient or conspicuous place, where itwill lie sure to be seen and used in case of fire. *+>.
