A flintlock turn-over gun by Andreas Ertel, Dresden, circa 1760 Two-stage barrels, octagonal breech section turning into round with smooth bores in 15 mm calibre. Above the breeches silver-inlaid signature "Andreas Erttel" as well as numbering "1" and "in Dresden" and number "2" respectively. Lightly engraved frizzens and lock. Trigger guard with sprung front edge acting as the barrel-release. Figured walnut full stock with smooth brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with horn tip retained by three pipes at the side.
