The Kieler Hansekogge is a faithful replica of a cog that was recovered in the mouth of the Weser. The original was dated to 1380 and is on display in the Bremerhaven Shipping Museum. The 23m long replica, the Kiel Hansekogge, is now actively run on a voluntary basis.
