The wooden bridge over the San Pedro River also referred to as Puente de la Algaida or Puente Mirador Río San Pedro is a pedestrian walkway that joins the banks of the Spanish municipalities of Puerto de Santa María and Puerto Real, crossing the San Pedro River. Pedro, a sea arm of the Atlantic Ocean. The Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park is a protected natural area since 1989 that extends over 10,522 hectares in Andalusia. It covers the municipalities of Cádiz, San Fernando, Puerto Real, Chiclana de la Frontera and El Puerto de Santa María. It includes marshes, beaches, pine forests, sandbanks and scrub areas1 that are the banks of the Bay of Cádiz and the marshes associated with the mouths of the Guadalete and Iro rivers, and also the natural spaces adjacent to the Sancti Petri spout. Being located in an area of passage for birds between Doñana and the Strait of Gibraltar, it serves as a habitat for certain unique species such as little terns, stilts and avocets. The park's headquarters are located in San Fernando, next to the city's botanical garden, dedicated to the conservation of native flora.
